Xiangjie S9 Officially Launched and Deliveries Begin
On August 6, 2024, the panoramic smart flagship sedan Xiangjie S9 was officially unveiled at the Hongmengzhixing Xiangjie S9 and Huawei All-Scenario New Product Launch Event.

The Xiangjie S9 is available in two versions:
-
Xiangjie S9 Max priced at RMB 399,800;
-
Xiangjie S9 Ultra priced at RMB 449,800.

As Hongmengzhixing’s first luxury flagship sedan, the Xiangjie S9 adopts a 'OneBox' design, delivering spaciousness, high efficiency, and an attractive aesthetic.

Cabin: The Xiangjie S9 features a 3,050 mm wheelbase and debuts zero-gravity rear seats for sedans. These seats offer 12-way electric adjustment, with a maximum lumbar angle of 108° and knee angle of 128°. Combined with an ultra-wide 429 mm leg rest, they fully accommodate relaxed postures. A dedicated rear secretary screen is also introduced, featuring stepless folding between 0° and 45°, ensuring smooth operation and intuitive control powered by HarmonyOS.

Suspension: The Xiangjie S9 employs a front double-wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension setup. All trims come standard with five-level height-adjustable air springs and CDC (Continuous Damping Control) systems. Additionally, the vehicle utilizes the Tuling platform, exclusive to D-segment sedans.
Powertrain: Equipped with the new HUAWEI DriveONE 800V high-voltage silicon carbide platform, the all-wheel-drive version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. For range, the Xiangjie S9 is fitted with a 100 kWh battery, achieving a maximum CLTC combined range of 816 km.

Autonomous Driving: The Xiangjie S9 debuts the HUAWEI ADS 3.0 advanced intelligent driving system, which pioneers a new end-to-end architecture capable of navigating roundabouts nationwide. It introduces industry-first parking-to-parking autonomous driving, connecting public roads to campuses, surface lots to underground garages, and vice versa. This achieves true full-scenario coverage with human-like driving dynamics, ensuring reliable performance across the country.

On August 7, the Xiangjie S9 Early Enjoyment Plan began deliveries. Richard Yu, Executive Director of Huawei and Chairman of the Consumer BG and Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, appeared at the event to hand over the new vehicles to the first batch of owners.
Commentary:
As the most premium flagship model jointly developed by Huawei and BAIC under Hongmengzhixing, the Xiangjie S9 will form a "dual-9 flagship" lineup alongside the AITO M9. It features Huawei technologies in its cockpit, autonomous driving capabilities, and chassis powertrain. This indicates that Hongmengzhixing has high expectations for this model. Whether the Xiangjie S9 can replicate the sales performance of the AITO M9 remains to be seen.
