AITO: 400,000th Vehicle Rolls Off the Line

The 400,000th AITO vehicle has rolled off the production line.

From zero to 400,000 units, AITO took just 28 months. Of that total, the jump from 100,000 to 400,000 units was achieved in only 13 months—a milestone of significant importance for the entire industry.

The rapid growth from zero to 400,000 units was largely driven by the AITO New M7 and the AITO M9.

With the rollout of the 400,000th unit, cumulative deliveries of the AITO New M7 since its launch last September have surpassed 200,000, establishing it as a phenomenon-level bestseller. Meanwhile, the AITO M9, launched at the end of last year, has already recorded 70,000 deliveries, decisively reshaping the landscape of China’s RMB 500,000 luxury car segment.

At the ceremony marking the 400,000th vehicle, Richard Yu stated: "This is just the beginning; more exciting developments are yet to come. We will continue to deepen our cooperation and fully support SERES in building and selling AITO vehicles well."

For SERES, maintaining a strong partnership with Huawei is essential to ensure AITO retains sufficient product competitiveness and market visibility, enabling the company to capture greater profits in the new energy vehicle market.

For Huawei, the AITO brand—refined over three years in partnership with SERES—has successfully validated its automotive business model and laid the foundation for a larger strategic footprint. This collaboration also sets the stage for Huawei’s continued management of the Zhijie, Xiangjie, and Zunjie brands.

Furthermore, the Huawei-SERES partnership has left an indelible mark on the industry by accelerating the adoption of intelligent driving, unlocking further potential in the high-end luxury market, and propelling domestic brands toward higher value propositions.

Regarding AITO’s future, Richard Yu expressed strong confidence, stating that the brand will not only lead in intelligence but also surpass industry standards in mechanical quality by more than a generation, aiming to create more miracles together.

Quick Take:

AITO achieved 400,000 new vehicles coming off the production line within 28 months, demonstrating the powerful synergy between SERES and Huawei and reflecting robust market demand for high-end smart electric vehicles. The successful delivery of the new AITO M7 and M9 has further solidified its position in the luxury car segment. Richard Yu’s confidence and outlook suggest that AITO will continue to lead the industry in both intelligence and mechanical engineering. With technological advancements and market expansion, AITO’s next milestone may arrive sooner than expected.
