On May 7th, Yidian Auto reported that ZHU Jiang, Chief Operating Officer of Ford China has left office and been in contact with several companies that have just announced the entry into intelligent electric vehicle manufacturing.

ZHU joined Ford China in June 2020, reporting to Mark Kaufman, general manager of Ford China. During his tenure, ZHU took the lead in Ford China’s Mach-E project.

Before joining Ford China, ZHU was in charge of user operation at NIO since 2017. The user operation business of NIO is considered as the key to its differentiation from other competitors. From 2014 to 2017, ZHU worked for Lexus, whose sales in China increased from less than 80,000 to 110,000.
