On the evening of May 25th, the Ideal ONE facelift release conference was held in Beijing by Ideal Automotive. The core information of the conference is summarized as follows:

Increased Mileage

The 2021 Ideal ONE three-in-one rear drive motor and driving system can arrange a larger fuel tank with a capacity of 55 liters, increased from 45 liters. NEDC comprehensive cruising range of 1,080 km, WLTC comprehensive range of 890 km. Added external discharge function, supporting a maximum output power of 2,200 W for external discharge.

Ideal AD Advanced Driving Assistance System is Standard on All Models

The Ideal ONE is equipped with Horizon dual J3 chips. At the same time, the Ideal AD advanced driving assistance system is fully self-developed by the Ideal Automotive autonomous driving team, including visual perception, sensor fusion, decision-making, planning, and control. In addition, the 2021 Ideal ONE is equipped with Ideal OS, which can achieve auxiliary driving functions including NOA navigation assistance driving. By the third quarter of this year, the Ideal AD advanced driving assistance system will open the NOA function on all national expressways and city closed expressways.

Ideal Automotive stated that all future models of assisted driving and autonomous driving will be equipped as standard, without charging software activation or subscription fees.

Hardware Upgrade

The camera is an 800W pixel wide-angle camera with a viewing angle of 120 degrees, a maximum detection distance of 200 meters, a sampling accuracy of up to 4k, and can recognize traffic lights, ice cream cones, and road shoulders. Combined with high-precision maps provided by Gaode, it can achieve NOA navigation assistance.

Five millimeter-wave radars, all of which are Bosch’s fifth-generation products. Each can identify within a range of 150 degrees, with a detection distance of over 110 meters.

Seat Upgrade

Upgrade the electric seat backrest and add a second-row electric seat backrest and waist massage function to the four seats in the front and rear rows. Old users can pay to upgrade their seats to the new model, and specific policies will be announced in the third quarter.

New Colors

Two brand new colors: Deep Green Special Pearl Paint and Tech Blue Special Cold Light Paint, with black, white, gray, and silver metallic paint as standard.
