MIIT’s New Car Inventory

On March 14th, the 354th batch of “Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products” was announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The new cars landing on MIIT this time include BYD Dolphin, BYD Guardian 07, Avita 11, SAIC Audi Pure Electric Q6 and other products.

BYD Dolphin

BYD’s new car Dolphin has landed on MIIT, with the code name BYD7006BEVA1.

  • The length, width and height of the new car are 4,800 × 1,875 × 1,460 mm, and the wheelbase is 2,920 mm;

  • The peak power of the front AC asynchronous motor is 160 kW, and the peak power of the rear permanent magnet synchronous motor is 230 kW;

Judging from the appearance alone, the Dolphin has indeed become younger. Compared with the slightly smaller BYD Han, the size of the vehicle body is consistent with the wheelbase of Han, both of which are 2,920 mm.
