On November 9th, 2020, I finally received my long-awaited g9.

I woke up at 7 in the morning and arrived at the delivery center at 9. There, I saw my car, and the staff showed me its exterior and explained its features. I paid the final installment and purchased insurance. By the way, insurance in Beijing is really cheap.

I chose the license plate number 京aa8 (Jing AA8) at 10 o’clock, then had lunch at the famous Nancheng Xiang restaurant. At 1 pm, I arrived at the Yuegezhuang inspection station to get my car checked and registered.

At 2 pm, I went to the pre-arranged shop to have the protective film applied. I finished all of these tasks in one day.

After driving 60 kilometers, I was surprised at the energy consumption. I’m not sure if it’s due to my driving style or the gauge being inaccurate.

The only issue I have is that I found the stitching on the bottom of the seat belt to be too large. I’m not sure if this is a common problem or just an isolated issue. The quality of workmanship could be improved.

Now, I can slowly experience the joy that g9 brings.
