2021 Guangzhou Auto Show new car launch: Salon’s first model officially unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show (with real shot pictures).

This year’s Guangzhou Auto Show, the debut of Salon’s first model, named “Mechanical Dragon”, has attracted much attention.

Equipped with front and rear high-performance permanent magnet synchronous motors, with a total output of 400 kW maximum power and 750 N·m peak torque. With Michelin high-performance tires, as well as four-wheel drive system, 0-100 km/h acceleration time is just 3.7 seconds;
Equipped with Brembo four-piston fixed calipers and large-size brake discs, braking distance is 33 meters;

Equipped with a 115 kWh large-capacity battery, achieving 802 km of CLTC range;
Based on an 800 V platform, the maximum charging power can reach 480 kW, and the peak current is 600 A. Under CLTC standards, a 10-minute charging session guarantees a 401 km range increase, while a 15-minute charge delivers 545 km of range;
Mechanical Dragon is also the first model to be equipped with the Dayu battery technology.

In the previous teaser posters, we already knew that Mechanical Dragon is equipped with 4 laser radars, achieving full coverage from all angles. These 4 laser radars are Huawei’s 96-line hybrid solid-state laser radars, with a single viewing angle up to 120°*25°, supporting cleaning and automatic heating;
In addition to 4 laser radars, Mechanical Dragon is also equipped with 7 ultra-high-definition cameras with 8-million pixels, 4 surround-view cameras, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 1 independent high-precision positioning unit, totaling 38 perception components to form a perception system with high-precision maps. The vehicle detection distance is greater than 500 meters;
On the computing platform, Mechanical Dragon has debuted an MDC dual intelligent driving computing platform. It adopts DaVinci architecture, with NPU computing power of 400 TOPS and CPU computing power up to 440 K DMIPS.
