(2) You can also log in to 42 Motor House using a third-party account (currently only supporting WeChat login). At this time, we will obtain your public information registered in the third-party platform (avatar, nickname, area, gender and other authorized information), and after you agree to this “Privacy Policy”, we will bind your third-party account with your 42 Motor House account, so that you can directly log in and use 42 Motor House products and related services through the third-party account.

(4) When you need to use identity authentication functions or related services, according to relevant laws and regulations, you may need to provide your true identity information (real name, ID number, and other information required for real name authentication) to complete real name verification. 2. Information Browsing and Consulting Services

(2) GPS information is sensitive personal information, and if you refuse to provide it, we will not recommend information to you based on GPS information, and it will not affect the normal use of other functions and services of 42 Motor House.

(3) We will use your IP address to display and recommend local information or provide corresponding consulting services based on the city corresponding to the IP address.4. Providing You with Searching, Vehicle Information Display and New Car Launch Reminder Services

(1) When you use the searching service of “42 Auto Garage”, we will collect your search keyword information and log records. In order to provide efficient searching service, some of the above-mentioned information will be temporarily stored in your local storage devices, and the search result contents and search history records can be displayed to you.

(2) In order to help you quickly find the vehicles you need, we may collect your device information and browser types to provide you with the best way of vehicle information display. We will also use the above-mentioned personal information to continuously enhance and optimize the above-mentioned functions.

(3) When you use the “License Plate Recognition” function of “42 Auto Garage”, we will request your authorization to access camera and album (storage) permissions, collect the photographed pictures for realizing feedback function, and further optimize this service to enhance your user experience. If you refuse to grant the authorization, you will not be able to use this function, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions of “42 Auto Garage”.

(4) When you use the “Launch Reminder” function of “42 Auto Garage”, we will request your authorization to access calendar permissions, so that you can understand the new car launch information in a timely manner. If you refuse to grant the authorization, you will not be able to use this function, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions of “42 Auto Garage”.

5. Conducting Marketing Activities

When you choose to participate in marketing activities held by “42 Auto Garage”, depending on the activities, you may need to provide your name, mailing address, contact information, ID card number, and bank account details. These pieces of information may include personal sensitive information. If you refuse to provide these pieces of information, it may affect your participation in related activities or receiving prizes, but it will not affect other functions.

6. Purchase of Car Benefits, Rights and Payment Function

(4) We have de-identified the information collected and used, and the data analysis only corresponds to specific encoding that cannot be directly associated with your identity, which will not be related to your real identity.(1) When you participate in car dealer/manufacturer/group and related financial service provider’s special promotion, group purchase discounts, financial advantages and other purchase preferential activities through Garage 42, in the ordering process, you need to provide us with your contact telephone number. At the same time, the order will contain the reserved purchase preferential content, specific order number, order creation time, your intention deposit/booking deposit amount (if any), and discount provider information. We collect this information to help you complete the lock-in purchase discount, ensure your transaction security, query order information, and provide customer service and after-sales service. We will collect the order information generated when you use our service for display, so that you can manage the order more easily.

(2) For some purchase preferential activities, you need to pay a certain amount of intention deposit/booking deposit to lock in the preferential activities. After you place the order, you can choose to cooperate with a third-party payment institution provided by Garage 42 for payment services. We need to share your order transaction amount information and order payment related information with these payment institutions to confirm your payment instructions and complete the payment. In order to promptly know and confirm your payment progress and status, and provide you with after-sales and dispute resolution services, you agree that we can collect relevant information about payment progress from the transaction object or other financial institutions that you choose.

7. Customer Service

(1) When you contact us or apply for inquiries, complaints, and dispute resolution handling, we need you to provide the necessary personal information to verify your identity and provide relevant services in order to protect your account and system security.

(2) In order to contact you easily, help you solve problems as soon as possible, or record the processing plan and results of related issues, we may save your communication/call records and related content with us (including account information, order information, other information you provide to prove relevant facts or contact information you leave).

(3) In order to provide services and reasonably improve service quality, we may also use your other information, including relevant information you provide when contacting customer service.

8. Safeguarding product, service, and user security

In order to ensure the safe operation of software and services, we collect your acceleration sensor, hardware model, operating system version number, international mobile device identification code, unique device identifier, network device hardware address, device serial number, MAC address, IP address, WLAN access point, Bluetooth, base station, software version number, network access method, type, status, network quality data, operating, use, service log.b. 9. Other

(1) When you want to contact relevant service providers directly within the application, we will request phone permissions, the purpose of which is only to help you lift the phone dialing keyboard and display the other party’s phone number so that you can make a call in the app. Please rest assured that we will not obtain your phone number or call content through this permission, nor will we make any phone calls without your knowledge. If you refuse to authorize it, you will not be able to use this function, but it will not affect your normal use of 42 Garage’s other functions.

(2) To improve your efficiency and user experience in some activities (such as test driving), we will pre-fill the telephone number you used to log in or use these functions recently (showing the middle four digits encrypted) for you on the page of these functions, and only share it according to your authorization after you click the submit button. If you refuse to use the phone number pre-filling function, you can also enter relevant information actively on the page and continue to use our products/services.

(3) Explanation of self-starting and associated start-up:

1. To ensure that this application can receive client push information when it is closed or running in the background normally, this application needs to use the capability of (self-starting). There will be certain frequencies of sending broadcasts through the system to wake up the self-starting or associated start-up behavior of this application, which is necessary to achieve functions and services.

2. When you open content push messages, with your explicit consent, you will be redirected to open the relevant content. Without your consent, there will be no self-starting or associated start-up.

3. When you open files downloaded internally by this app, it will be associated with starting third-party apps.

(II) Personal information about you that we may obtain from third parties

When you log in to “42 Garage” using a third-party account, with your explicit consent, we will collect the third-party account’s nickname, profile picture, area, gender, and other information authorized by you.2. 2. Information you provide when filling out forms related to 42 Home Garage that are provided by our affiliates (such as information provided when using the “42 Home Garage” channel on “Toutiao”).

Please be aware that as our business develops, there may be adjustments and changes to the functionality and services provided by “42 Home Garage.” As a principle, when new features or services are directly or reasonably associated with our current features or services, the collection and use of personal information will have a direct or reasonable connection to the original purpose of processing. In scenarios where there is no direct or reasonable association with the original purpose of processing, we will inform you again and obtain your consent before collecting and using your personal information.

(IV) Personal information exempt from authorization for collection and use under law

Please be specially reminded that information that cannot identify your personal identity alone or in combination with other information does not constitute your personal information as defined by law; however, when your information can identify your personal identity alone or in combination with other information or when we combine data that cannot be linked to any specific personal information with other personal information of yours, those pieces of information will be considered your personal information and will be handled and protected according to this Privacy Policy during the period of combined use.

Using these technologies can help you save the steps and processes of repeating filling in personal information and inputting search content (example: record search, form filling).

III. How we store personal information

(1) Location of information storage

In accordance with relevant laws and regulations, we store the personal information collected and generated during the operation in China. At present, we will not transfer the above information abroad. If we do so, we will comply with relevant laws and regulations and seek your voluntary consent.

(2) Storage period

We only retain your personal information for the period necessary to provide “42号车库” and related services. The information you publish, comment, like, and other information will be retained during the period when you have not withdrawn, deleted, or logged out of your account. When the necessary period is exceeded, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations.

IV. How we Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Personal Information

(1) Sharing and transferring personal information

We will not share or transfer your personal information to third parties unless you have personally authorized or consented to it, or the shared or transferred personal information has been de-identified and the shared third party cannot re-identify the subject of natural persons.

a. Vehicle inquiry function:

In order to ensure the consistency of the services you receive among the products provided by us and our affiliated parties, and to facilitate unified management of your information, we may share your personal information with these affiliated parties.We may share the information voluntarily provided by you in the form with related automotive dealers, manufacturers, and groups (including but not limited to the dealers you actively choose, the dealers recommended based on your location and selected brand/model, and other excellent dealerships of the same brand in your region). They will use it within the legal and legitimate scope, such as contacting you in a timely manner.

Depending on your selection (such as inquiring through the “installment purchase” option, actively choosing “get the one-tenth down payment installment plan”, actively choosing “installment” on the complete inquiry information page after inquiry completion, indicating the intention of installment purchase during the 42 Garage telephone follow-up, only selecting the brand without specifying the specific service provider when inquiring), we may share necessary personal information with our business partners (such as related automotive dealers, manufacturers, and groups with installment purchase service capability, automotive financing lease platforms/companies, automotive finance companies, second-hand car platforms, and automotive-related service and information platforms), and they will use it within the legal and legitimate scope. Geolocation service: When you use geolocation related services (such as nearby dealership functions), we will share your device identifier information and GPS information with the location service provider (Gaode Map) in order to provide you with geographical location results. Refusal to provide GPS information will affect geolocation services, but will not affect other functions.

(I) Access, Delete, and Correct Your Personal Information

You can manage your information through the following methods:

1. Access Personal Account Information:

You can query, access, and correct your basic information such as avatar, username, and profile. You can do this by going to “Edit Profile” or “System Settings” on Garage 42.

2. Query, Access, Change, and Cancel Your Followed Accounts; Query and Access Fans and Visitors Information:

Go to Garage 42, click “Me,” and then click “Followers” to access followed accounts, and you can also unfollow them. Click “Fans” to check the number of fans and click it to display the usernames and avatars of your fans.

3. Query, Access, Modify, and Delete Your Collection Records:

Click “Me,” and then click “My Collection” to query, access, modify and delete records.

4. Delete Published Posts, Questions and Answers, Comments:

(1) Published posts: go to Garage 42, click “Me,” and follow the prompts to delete;

(2) Comments: you can visit the comment page and delete your comments.

5. Query Orders:

Go to Garage 42, click “Me,” and then click “My Orders” to query.

(II) Change Your Authorized Scope or Withdraw Consent

You can turn off relevant permissions in the operating system of your device to change the scope of authorization or withdraw your consent. After withdrawing consent, we will no longer collect information related to these permissions.

Please understand that specific business functions and services will require your information to be completed. When you withdraw consent or authorization, we will no longer be able to provide you with the corresponding function and service or process your personal information accordingly. However, your decision to withdraw consent or authorization will not affect the processing of personal information that the company has already carried out based on your authorization.

(III) Cancel Your Account

To apply for account cancellation, please download the App from the store or the official website (https://www.42how.com/app), and then click “Settings-Help and Feedback-Cancel Account” to apply for account cancellation.

Before you cancel your account, we will verify your personal identity, security status, device information and so on.

Please be aware that account cancellation is an irreversible action. After you cancel your account, we will delete your related information or make it anonymous, except as otherwise required by laws and regulations. Please make sure to back up any data related to your account if you need it.After applying for cancellation, the relevant content of the account will be deleted within 15 days, including but not limited to: your inability to use the account, historical data (dynamic, comments, profile picture, nickname, authenticated vehicles), etc.
